Myriam Garcia Sierra
Biography
Dr. Myriam Garcia Sierra is an ophthalmologist at the Ophthalmology Unit of Policlinico San Pietro.
She graduated in Medicine and Surgery in 1994 from the University of Salamanca (Spain) and specialized in Ophthalmology at the same institution in 2003.
She continued her education by obtaining a Ph.D. in Neuroscience at the University of Salamanca and in Vision Sciences at the University of Valladolid (Spain).
Over the years, she has gained solid experience in diagnosing and treating optic nerve pathologies, ocular motility deficits, and diagnosing heterodegenerative retinal dystrophies through posterior segment imaging exams.
