Mirco Manneschi
Biography
Dr. Mirco Manneschi is a specialist in Gastroenterology, Digestive Surgery, and Digestive Endoscopy.
After earning his degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Milan in 1976, he also completed his specialization in Liver Diseases and Metabolism (1980) and in Gastroenterology and Digestive Endoscopy (1985) at the same university.
In 1978, he began his professional career as a General Medicine physician, initially as a solo practitioner, and from 2008, in group medicine. He continued this practice until his retirement in 2021, after which he began working privately at the Casa di Cura and, as a senior consultant, in collaboration with Md Consierge.
Until 2012, he also worked at the Gastroenterology Institute of Policlinico di Milano, where he was involved in endoscopy and outpatient services related to esophageal diseases. From 2006 to 2011, he was a Contract Professor at the University of Milan, San Donato Campus. After this teaching experience, he continued to collaborate with the University Institute for several years as a “tutor,” assisting in the training of residency candidates in endoscopy.
Dr. Manneschi has gained significant expertise in the treatment of hepatic encephalopathy, esophageal diseases, and esophageal varices, contributing to the publication of research and articles in journals such as NEJM and others.
As a speaker, he regularly participates in various conferences as an expert in General Medicine within the field of specialized gastroenterology diseases.
