Michela Gilardi

Dr. Michela Gilardi is a psychologist and psychotherapist at the Oncology Unit of Istituto Clinico Beato Matteo.

She graduated in Psychology from the University of Pavia in 2007 and has been a member of the Lombardy Register of Psychologists since 2013.

In 2014, she began her four-year specialization in Psychotherapy at the Person-Centered Approach Institute, where she obtained her specialization diploma in 2017. In 2018, she completed EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) training for managing traumatic and crisis events.

Dr. Gilardi provides support for oncology patients undergoing therapy and for their relatives/caregivers. She also conducts evaluations for bariatric surgery suitability for patients with pathological obesity, offering pre- and post-operative support.

Additionally, she offers support in managing generalized anxiety or depression in hospitalized patients and specializes in professional activities focused on personal change and well-being, as well as providing support to healthcare staff.
