Maurizio Draghetti

Dr. Maurizio Draghetti is an orthopedic surgeon and Head of the Orthopedics Unit at Villa Erbosa, also collaborating with Villa Chiara in Bologna.  

After earning his degree in Medicine and Surgery in 1980 from the University of Bologna, he specialized in Orthopedics and Traumatology in 1985 at the Rizzoli Orthopedic Institute in Bologna.  

Over the years, Dr. Draghetti has worked with USLs (local health authorities) and accredited facilities, serving as Clinical Unit Head at Villa Erbosa since 2008.  

He specializes in orthopedic surgery of the upper and lower limbs, performing both surgical and outpatient procedures. His areas of expertise include:

• Prosthetic surgery of the hip, knee, and shoulder
• Hand and foot surgery  

Dr. Draghetti has authored numerous scientific publications and is an active participant in national and international orthopedic conferences.
