Marco Vittorio Rossi Ardizzone

Dr. Marco Vittorio Rossi Ardizzone is a urologist and general surgeon at Smart Clinic.

He graduated with honors in Medicine and Surgery in 1984 from the University of Milan, where he also specialized in Urology in 1989. He later earned a second specialization with honors in Surgery from the same university in 1997. Dr. Ardizzone pursued further training abroad, obtaining the Diploma of Urology in 1992 and becoming a Fellow of the European Board of Urology. In 2000, he was inducted as a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and he completed certifications in Advanced Trauma Life Support (2004), Advanced Trauma Operative Management (2011), and Definitive Surgical Trauma Care (2014).

In addition to his hospital work, Dr. Marco Vittorio Rossi Ardizzone was a lecturer in Urology at the Milan Nursing School from 1991 to 1993.

His main areas of interest include urology and pediatric urology, emergency surgery, general and pediatric surgery, as well as minimally invasive and laparoscopic techniques. Over 15 years, he has performed more than 3,000 surgeries. Throughout his career, he has also spent over a decade managing emergency room operations and surgical emergency activities.

From 1982 to 1991, Dr. Rossi Ardizzone volunteered at the Wamba Missionary Hospital in Kenya, where he specialized in surgical procedures, treating cases such as knife wounds, attacks by wild animals, thyroidectomies, laparotomies for elective pathologies, and urethroplasties for inflammatory urethral strictures.

Dr. Marco Vittorio Rossi Ardizzone is a speaker at numerous conferences both in Italy and abroad. He is also the author of several scientific publications.
