Marco Tabarroni
Biography
Dr. Marco Tabarroni is a Hand Orthopedic Surgeon at Villa Erbosa and Casa di Cura Villa Chiara.
He graduated cum laude in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Bologna in 1990. He completed his specialization in Orthopedics and Traumatology in 1995 and later obtained his specialization in Hand Surgery and Orthopedic Microsurgery at the University of Modena in 1997.
During his training, he attended the Institute of Anatomy and Pathological Histology from 1986 to 1988 at the University of Pennsylvania Medical Center and Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, as well as the Regional Spinal Cord Injury Center of Delaware Valley in the USA in 1990.
Before specializing, he trained at the Scoliosis Center, the Pediatric Orthopedics Division, and the Biomaterials Technology Laboratory of the 7th Division, where he was particularly involved in the design and implantation of hip prostheses.
Currently, at both hospitals, Dr. Tabarroni focuses mainly on Hand and Forefoot Surgery, as well as non-surgical/ambulatory treatments in other areas of General Orthopedics.
He is the author or co-author of 52 scientific publications, including articles in scientific journals, conference proceedings, and research projects.
