Loris Mirabile

Dr. Loris Mirabile is an orthopedic specialist at the Spinal Surgery Unit of Villa Erbosa.

He earned his degree in Medicine and Surgery from Alma Mater Studiorum at the University of Bologna, where he also completed his specialization in Orthopedics and Traumatology.

During his training, Dr. Mirabile worked at the Orthopedics and Traumatology Department of Ospedale Maggiore in Bologna, the Emergency Surgery unit at Policlinico S. Orsola, and the Rizzoli Orthopedic Institutes, gaining significant clinical and surgical expertise.

Since December 2006, he has been involved in specialist outpatient activities at two facilities: the "Corcovado" polyclinic, affiliated with the National Health Service, and the private polyclinic "Esedra." From December 2006 to March 2007, he also worked in surgical orthopedics at Casa Di Cura "Domus Nova" in Ravenna, a public facility affiliated with the SSN.

Between 2007 and 2008, he had a freelance contract at the Pediatric Orthopedics and Traumatology Department of the Rizzoli Orthopedic Institutes and served as the medical director of the Domina polyclinic. He then worked as a freelance contractor at the Orthopedics and Traumatology Department of Ospedale Maggiore.

From 2008 to 2018, Dr. Mirabile was a first-level medical director at the Surgical Spine Orthopedics Department of Ospedale Maggiore. He was also responsible for the clinical pathway for kyphoplasty for traumatic or fragility vertebral fractures and served as the orthopedic clinical referent for risk pregnancy consultations at Ospedale Maggiore and the northern Bologna area.

Since 2008, Dr. Mirabile has expanded his expertise in the medicolegal field, becoming a key consultant for various lawyers and insurance companies in road traffic traumatology.

He has authored several publications and participated in numerous national and international conferences.
