Dr. Joanna Katarzyna Nowakowska is a dentist responsible for orthodontics in the Department of Odontostomatology at the IRCCS Istituto Ortopedico Galeazzi.
In 2003 she graduated with honors from the Faculty of Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics of the Medical Academy in Gdansk (Poland), in 2008 she received a PhD in innovative technologies in oral implantology and orthopedic rehabilitation on implants at the University of Milan.
In 2012, she received a degree in orthodontics at the University of Milan, having defended her dissertation on three-dimensional aesthetic analysis of the face with a score of 70/70.
Since 2005, he has been a permanent doctor of the Odontostomatology Service of the IRCCS Istituto Ortopedico Galeazzi under the supervision of Professor Luca Francetti. Since 2017, he has been the head of the Department of Orthodontics, Preoperative Orthodontics and Pedodontics of the Odontostomatology Service of the same Istituto Ortopedico Galeazzi.
Dr. Nowakowska is the author of national and international publications and a speaker at numerous national events dedicated to orthodontics and oral cavity prevention. She is also an adjunct professor at the School of Orthodontics Specialization in Milan.
