Guglielmo Berardi

Dr. Guglielmo Berardi is an Orthopedic Traumatologist at the Orthopedics Unit 5 of Villa Erbosa.

He graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Rome "La Sapienza" in 1996 and specialized in Orthopedics and Traumatology at the University of L'Aquila in 2005. He then completed an advanced specialization in "Spine Surgery" at the University of Milan.

Dr. Berardi is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in the treatment of adult scoliosis, spinal disorders in Parkinson's patients, Friedreich's ataxia patients, and degenerative and traumatic spinal instability. He has performed over 2,780 surgical procedures, honing his expertise in degenerative and traumatic spinal conditions, scoliosis, and vertebral surgery, including open, minimally invasive, and conservative surgical treatments.

He served as a contract professor of "Locomotor System Pathology" for the degree program in Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation at the University of Rome "La Sapienza," Pontine Campus in Latina, during the academic years 2007-2008 through 2011-2012. He also supervised thesis projects during the same period.

Dr. Berardi is an active member of S.I.O.T. (Italian Society of Orthopedics and Traumatology), G.I.S. (Italian Scoliosis Group – Italian Society of Vertebral Surgery), NASS (North American Spine Society), and EuroSpine (Spine Society of Europe).

He is the author of numerous publications and participates as a speaker, presenting oral communications and posters at national and international conferences.
