Farshid Kalantary

Dr. Farshid Kalantary Rad is a urologist at the Urology Unit of the Istituto Clinico Città di Brescia.

He graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Bologna in 1992 and specialized in Urology at the University of Verona in 1997, graduating with honors (50/50 cum laude). In 2010, he obtained a Certificate in Managerial Training for Complex Healthcare Facility Management from the I.Re.F. School of Healthcare Management, Lombardy Region.

Dr. Kalantary began his career as a specialist in Urology at Istituto Clinico Poliambulanza in September 1998, where he provided clinical consultations and patient care until September 2020. His most recent experience was at Humanitas Gavazzeni in Bergamo, where he worked until February 2023.

He has performed numerous surgical procedures, including open, endoscopic, and ultrasound-guided surgeries.

Since February 2023, he has been working at the Urology Unit of Istituto Clinico Città di Brescia, where he engages in both clinical and surgical activities. In his outpatient practice, he performs:

• Urological consultations
• Renal, bladder, and scrotal ultrasounds
• Scrotal, prostatic, and transrectal Doppler ultrasounds
