Edi Chiesa
Biography
Dr. Edi Chiesa works in the Internal Medicine Department at the Istituto Clinico Beato Matteo.
She graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Pavia in 1985 and obtained her specialization in Tuberculosis and Respiratory Diseases from the same university in 1992.
Since 1996, she has held a freelance position at the Oncological Day Hospital at the Istituto Clinico Beato Matteo.
Dr. Chiesa has been involved in oncology since 1986, with a particular focus on lung and breast cancers and early diagnosis in breast pathology. She holds a certification in breast ultrasound.
She has participated in studies such as the Tamoxifen prevention study for healthy women coordinated by the European Institute of Oncology and other adjuvant chemotherapy studies for breast cancer, including the Gim protocol.
She presented a poster at the AIOM congress titled: “Chronomodulated chemotherapy with oxaliplatin, 5-fluorouracil, and leucovorin in the treatment of metastatic colorectal cancer: our experience.”
