Domenico Simonetti

Dr. Domenico Simonetti is an orthopedic surgeon at OPRAM - Advanced Minimally Invasive Robotic Prosthetic Orthopedics Center at Policlinico San Pietro and at IRCCS Ospedale Galeazzi – Sant’Ambrogio. He also collaborates with Palazzo della Salute Welleness Clinic, Smart Clinic La Corte Lombarda in Bellinzago.

He earned his degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Pavia in 2012 and specialized in Orthopedics and Traumatology at the University of Bari “A. Moro” in 2019. Additionally, he completed a Master's in Advanced Hip Surgery at Campus Bio-Medico in Rome.

Before joining the San Donato Group, Dr. Simonetti developed his skills as an orthopedic physician in both outpatient and hospital settings. He has a particular interest in arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder and knee.

Dr. Simonetti is a member of major national and international scientific societies, including the Italian Society of Orthopedics and Traumatology (SIOT), the Italian Society of Arthroscopy, Knee, Upper Limb, Sports, Cartilage, and Orthopedic Technologies (SIAGASCOT), and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS). Throughout his studies, he has participated in numerous training courses in orthopedics both in Italy and abroad.
