Alberto Castoldi

Dr. Alberto Castoldi is the Head of the Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging Unit at Policlinico San Pietro in Bergamo. He also oversees the organizational management of the radiology and diagnostic imaging services at “Smart Clinic” (Orio al Serio and Cantù) and Policlinico San Marco. Additionally, he serves as the CEO of Imaging Medical Service.

Dr. Castoldi began his academic journey in 2003 at the University of Pavia, where he earned his degree and later specialized in Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology. From 2008 to 2015, he worked as a freelancer at Policlinico San Marco, Policlinico San Pietro, and the Palazzolo Clinic in Bergamo. In 2016, he was appointed as the Head of the Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging Unit at Policlinico San Pietro, a position he currently holds.

Dr. Castoldi is a speaker at national and international courses on Virtual Colonoscopy and is actively involved in ECM-accredited courses on the management and administration of RIS-PACS systems within radiology and diagnostic imaging services.
