Spine Surgery

The clinical interest is focused mainly on congenital and degenerative diseases of the spine and on surgery of spinal deformities.
We use minimally invasive and video-assisted techniques on the thoracic and lumbar spine (Thoracoscopy, video-assisted mini-laparotomy), as well as innovative systems and reconstructive implants for degenerative diseases of the rachis using non-fusion techniques (dynamic stabilization systems; prosthetic discs etc.).

The clinical activities focus on the treatment of spine deformities in adolescents and adults, on the treatment of degenerative and traumatic pathologies and on sequelae of spinal trauma, with a strong attention to minimally invasive surgery in complex spinal pathology.
